The blade is made from manganese alloy steel and heat treated for a hardness of 61 HRc, and will take and hold an excellent edge. The blade is 11\/16\" wide at it’s base and nearly a full 1\/8\" thick with a flat back. These blade characteristics facilitate smooth and chatter-free cuts. The blade is 2\" long with a 1\" radius curved blade. The blade is straight and does not tapers along its length. The knife comes razor sharp and ready for use. Handle is a full 1-1\/4\" wide and 4-1\/2\" long for a secure grip that reduces fatigue.
