Late Night Hustle: CAD, Heavy Metal, Grizzly, and Website Wonders

It’s getting deep into the night here at Norfolk Wood Shop, and while the neighborhood is quiet, the digital side of the shop is moving at full speed. There’s something about this end of a candle and the glow of a monitor that makes the best ideas come to life.

Right now, I’m buried in a CAD tool working on something truly special. I can’t pull the curtain back all the way just yet, but if you’ve been following me for any real length of time, you know I don't do anything halfway. This design is going to be a game-changer... and it's not part of the Bad Owl Tool app. It's a foray into something completely new for me.

Beyond the design work, I’ve been hit with a massive wave of logistics. I’m currently finalizing the imports for a significant lineup of Grizzly products. I’ll be carrying these soon, and getting the inventory systems ready to handle that kind of iron is no small feat. To make sure you guys know exactly what you’re getting, I’ve also spent tonight updating several of our most important tools on the site with high-res images and much better descriptions.

Speaking of the site, I just pushed a major update to the main theme. It’s cleaner, faster, and built to help you find what you need without the clutter.

The irony of all this digital progress? My home wood shop is currently completely out of power. It’s a total disaster and a story for another day—trust me, it’s a wild one—but for now, the laptop is charged, the coffee is hot, and the work continues. I'll probably post something about it on social media soon.
